Working as an integrative relational therapist allows me to draw from many theories, giving me the flexibility to support you and help you achieve the best possible outcome, ensuring you lead a happier life. Each client is unique, and I can adapt my style of working to your individual needs. I work relationally and therefore regard the therapeutic relationship as an essential part of the therapeutic healing process. A successful therapeutic relationship is built on mutual respect, trust and understanding.
"The healing is in the relationship", Irvin D Yalom
Talking to someone you initially don't know, especially about your thoughts and feelings can be a daunting prospect. I feel it is therefore necessary to let you know that I will do everything possible to make sure you feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible. Talk therapy can be very beneficial in helping you to put things into perspective and take back control of your life. I am a skilful listener who can offer you a non-judgemental space to talk and reflect, whether that be about your past experiences, present challenges or future worries.
“There is no passion to be found in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.” Nelson Mandela

Initial Consultation - £30
The initial counselling session will allow me to understand what brings you to therapy. During this 50 minute consultation, you should be able to get a feel for how I work and if you feel comfortable talking to me. The session will give me an opportunity to learn more about you so I can understand how I can help you going forward.
Subsequent sessions - £60
You may already have a goal you wish to achieve. If not, then perhaps during our time together with increased self-awareness and reflection you might find a goal. Often, merely a space to reflect is good enough and I can offer a non-judgemental space, your space. We can work together at your pace. You have the autonomy to bring whatever you would like to talk about to each session.
