Convenient and effective therapy online

Online counselling

I have introduced online counselling to supplement my all face to face sessions. It's easy to get in touch to arrange an online consultation and the initial consultation is half price. Although we are all working out how to find a new routine and way of life during these difficult times, we may also still be struggling with various aspects of ourselves.

Our thoughts, feelings, emotions, relationships with others play a very important role in how we are able to manage life, whether that be with a positive, healthy mental attitude or perhaps one that is negative and unfulfilling. Online counselling provides an opportunity to explore these aspects of ourselves in a confidential and safe environment.

If you would rather not meet face to face, I can provide support online through video call, chat, or phone call. You have the choice as to whether you would like to do this via Skype, WhatsApp, Teams, Zoom or phone. It's good to talk!

What is online counselling?

Online therapy can be just as effective as face-to-face counselling, and you can arrange to work with me at the same time each week. Instead of meeting in person, we will talk over a computer or phone screen.

Counselling over the internet isn’t new and has even been heavily researched as to its effectiveness. Originally done via emails and online programs, chat software and video conferencing became the logical next step.

Online counselling is a type of counselling that is provided via the internet. It can be accessed by anyone with an internet connection, and can be a convenient and effective way to receive  support and guidance from a qualified counsellor.

Online counselling vs. face-to face therapy

There are pros and cons to both online counselling and face to face therapy. Online counselling can be more convenient and accessible. Face to face therapy can provide a more personal connection, but it can be less convenient and accessible. Ultimately, the decision of which type of therapy to pursue depends on your needs

There are several benefits to online therapy

  • you don’t have to travel to see me

  • you can access therapy from any location

  • access is easy even if you suffer a disability or injury

I will listen and respond to you carefully, reliably, and without prejudice to help you make sense of your thoughts, feelings, and way of life.
